The Helotes Economic Development Corporation is planning to develop a Helotes Walk of Fame in Old Town to celebrate the City’s heritage and the stars who have shone brightly in our community. This vision was presented to City of Helotes City Council in two consecutive Budget Workshops in June and July. Casting a vision is the first step; making it happen is the hard part. (Yes, we know the landmark green pickup truck in front of John T. Floore Country Store isn’t in the picture, but this is just an initial visual.) Stay tuned!!

For the last several months, the Helotes Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors have collaborated and built its Strategic Plan geared to strengthening the local economy. These efforts have culminated in the Strategic Plan which is the basis for its FY 2027 Budget.
