The Trinity Glen Rose District received some congratulatory words from Texas State Senator Donna Campbell today. "Congratulations to the Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District upon receiving the incredibly competitive grant from the Texas Water Development Board awarding the district $101,241. This incredible grant is a tribute to the time and effort dedicated to the district. The grant will help to expand your water well monitoring system, increase monitoring locations, and prevent data gaps. The members of your district will be safer with these upgrades." Thank you Senator Campbell! Those dollars will help the TGR District continue its work to protect, preserve and conserve the Trinity Aquifer in Bexar County.

Water Well Owners - If your water well was subject to the recent flooding or nearby flooding, we encourage you to contact your local groundwater conservation district, local/state health department, agriculture extension agent, or water well company for specific advice on disinfecting your well or at minimum having your well water tested.

See Fair Oaks Ranch NOTICE: Residents on private water wells located in one-half mile of the spill area should boil water.

If your water well flooded it is extremely important to properly disinfect your well and reach out to your water well service company. Give us a call at the office if you need more information on what to do with your well after a flood. 210-698-1155

Wastewater Spill Notice Following Flooding

The City of Fair Oaks Ranch is notifying residents that flooding along Cibolo Creek caused approximately 𝟳𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 to be discharged on Wednesday, July 15.

Floodwaters inundated the Bottom of the Hill Lift Station, causing the pumps to fail and an upstream manhole near Cojak Circle to overflow.

Important Information:
• The City's public drinking water system has NOT been affected and continues to meet TCEQ drinking water standards.
• Please avoid contact with floodwater, standing water, soil, or waste material in the affected area.
• Please do not enter or fish in Cibolo Creek until further notice.
• Residents with private water wells within one-half mile of the affected area should boil or use distilled water until their wells can be tested.

City crews will begin cleanup as soon as floodwaters recede and conditions are safe.

With those plentiful rains having stopped for a few weeks, we hope you are squeezing every last drop out of that precipitation before starting up your sprinkler systems again. If your landscapes are really dry, then try some hand watering in the evenings. Thanks for caring for our local aquifers like the Trinity Aquifer and not wasting the "wet stuff" every chance you get. The Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District (TGR) just received approval from the Texas Water Development Board on a $101,241 grant request that was submitted in March 2026. The Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District announced it is moving to STAGE 2 of its drought plan from STAGE 3. After considering rising levels in the Trinity Aquifer monitoring wells due to significant rainfall over the past several months, the District decided to officially go to Stage 2. MONDAY MORNING RAINFALL (6/15/2026)

This is why we're dealing with flooding in low-water crossings, construction zones, etc. Up to 6+" of rain has fallen on the northwest side with widespread 1-3" elsewhere.
