Hello Hempstead Families!

Friendly reminder that we will be closed on Friday, September 4 for a staff Professional Development Day and Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. We believe in continuous improvement, and we will be working hard to sharpen our skills and continue to provide the best learning environment for your scholar!

🚧 Hempstead Elementary Construction Update 🚧

A new fence is up at Hempstead Elementary School, and that means Bond 2024 construction will begin very soon.

Construction fencing has been installed, which means parking at the front of Hempstead Elementary will be limited throughout the duration of the project. Please allow a little extra travel time when visiting campus.

Thank you for your patience and support as we invest in a safer and more secure campus for our young Bobcats.

Enrollment for NEW Hempstead Elementary students is NOW OPEN!

Is your child ready to become a Bobcat? Enrollment is now open for new Kindergarten through 5th grade students who will attend Hempstead Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year!

A student is considered NEW to Hempstead ISD if they:
✅ Have never attended a school in Hempstead ISD, or
✅ Previously attended Hempstead ISD but withdrew before the school year ended and now need to re-enroll.

We can't wait to welcome our newest Bobcats to a school community where students learn and grow every day!
