Did you know our school cafeterias use the USDA’s “Offer vs. Serve” system? This allows students to choose the foods they like while ensuring they get a balanced, healthy meal—all while helping to reduce food waste.
How it works:
Breakfast: Choose at least 3 items (must include 1/2 cup of fruit or fruit juice).
Lunch: Choose at least 3 food groups (must include 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetables).
Parents, you can support our school cafeterias by reviewing the menu with your child and encouraging them to try new foods.

Join us to meet our school administrators and teachers before the new school year begins. Walk through your student's schedule, visit their classrooms, and get connected with our Spartan community.

Today was the last day of our 2026 Summer Transition Program and it was a great 2 weeks! Thank you to the 150 students from 9 different schools who participated in this summer’s program. We hope you enjoyed the program and are now ready to become Spartans!

A huge mahalo and thank you to Kumu Kaimi, Mr. Toa, Ms. Staszkow, Kumu 'Io, Mrs. Fernandez, Mr. Jay, Miss Missy, Miss Kylie, Miss Casey, Miss Holly, Mr. Nobriga, and Mrs. Baruela for all of their incredible hard work this summer! This program wouldn't have been possible without you.

Today marks the final day of our summer programs and summer meals.
A massive MAHALO to Mr. Villasista and Mrs. Mcnicoll for working tirelessly all summer to keep our students and community fed. We appreciate your dedication and hard work so much.
A special shoutout to Hilo High School for providing the meals and supporting our families this summer. We truly have the best community.
