Hawaiʻi Department of Health Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division | Providing timely and effective mental health prevention, assessment, and treatment services to youth. Comment and Posting Policy:
The Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (“CAMHD”) uses social networking platforms to connect and interact with different audiences. These accounts are produced, maintained, and monitored by

the CAMHD Program Improvement & Communications Office (“PICO”) and its Social Media Administrators. Moderating and posting comments should only be expected to occur during normal business hours. We encourage public interaction and communication about the content we post on our social media accounts. However, this does not imply that the CAMHD agrees with or accepts the content, opinions, or views expressed within any public comment. The person who posts a comment is solely responsible for the content of the comment. Due to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the CAMHD is unable to post comments from children under the age of thirteen (13); they may email the CAMHD PICO rather than post a comment. While we do not discriminate against views or opinions posted to our social networking accounts, we reserve the right to remove or not approve any comment, or to block users who post the following comments:
• Abusive,vulgar, offensive, threatening or harassing language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups;
• Personal information (whether your own or someone else’s), including home address, phone numbers, or email addresses;
• Content that promotes or opposes any political party, person campaigning for elected office, or any ballot proposition;
• Spam, including commercial advertisements or solicitations of funds; Endorsement or encouragement of illegal, dangerous, or destructive activities;
• Duplicate or off-topic; and
• Customer support-related questions (for that, contact the CAMHD Central Administration Office via their official website (https://health.hawaii.gov/camhd/). In short: Comment with Aloha, this is after all a family-friendly page. Please be aware that while administrators are responsible for moderating the page, they cannot immediately review every comment posted on a page. Opinions expressed in unrelated-CAMHD posts are not necessarily those of the CAMHD and its employees, and the administrators cannot guarantee the accuracy of these posts.

No keiki should have to face mental health challenges alone. As a community, we grow stronger when we make it okay to ask for help. No shame, just ask.
