30 states have taken action to fight crypto kiosk fraud. Hawai'i could be the 31st. House Bill 1642 to ban cyrpto kiosk deposits is awaiting the governor's signature. Last year Hawai'i consumers lost nearly $3.85 million to cryptokiosk fraud -- nearly four times the amount lost in 2024. If HB1642 doesn't become law this year, Hawai'i consumers, especially kupuna, will lose millions more.
