When K9 teams answer the call, their four-legged partners face many of the same dangers as their handlers.

The Pafford STRIIK Team was honored to be a part of the Patrol Tactics K9 Course hosted by Vier Honden K9, where Garland County On-Duty Supervisor and Tactical Paramedic Todd Aitken provided training on K9 first aid, emergency medical assessments, and the treatment of traumatic and heat-related injuries.

From classroom instruction to hands-on wound packing exercises, handlers gained practical skills that could help save the life of their K9 partner when seconds matter. 🐾

Nothing brings people together quite like a fish fry! 🎣🍽️

Members of our leadership team recently hosted an Employee Appreciation Lunch for our Facilities Crew, Fleet Technicians, and Supplies/Logistics staff.

From maintaining our facilities and equipment to keeping our fleet road-ready and ensuring our crews have the supplies they need, these teams play a vital role in supporting Pafford's mission across the communities we serve.

Thank you to Chris and other team members for coordinating this cookout and to all of our team members that serve from behind the scenes, for everything you do! 💙

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jerry Williams, a dedicated Paramedic and friend to many members of Team Pafford, who spent 47 years in EMS serving the people of his community.

Throughout a career that spanned generations, Jerry answered countless calls for help, cared for patients during some of their most difficult moments, and earned the respect of colleagues across the EMS profession. His Arkansas EMS provider license number 1868 stands as a testament to the many years he devoted to serving others and the lasting impact he made on emergency medical services.

His legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the patients he cared for, and the EMS professionals who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry's family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Our crew members hit Historic Bathhouse Row this weekend in Hot Springs, Arkansas, for the Stueart Pennington's World Championship Running of the Tubs. Twenty-nine teams took on the course, and we're so proud of our crew for representing Pafford along the way.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring the Pafford tub to life, especially Wayne Kuenning.

See you next year, Hot Springs! 🏁

Today, we remember the courage and sacrifice displayed on D-Day — June 6, 1944.

As Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy, countless heroes risked everything in the fight for freedom. We honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and the legacy they left behind. Their bravery will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

This past week, members of Pafford's Marine Division joined firefighters, rescue personnel, and public safety professionals from across Arkansas for the Arkansas Fire Boat School.

Participants received hands-on training in marine firefighting, water rescue operations, boat handling, and emergency response techniques designed to help keep Arkansas waterways safe.

Training opportunities like these strengthen partnerships between agencies and ensure responders are prepared to answer the call when emergencies happen on the water. We are proud of our Marine Rescue Paramedics and team members who continue to pursue advanced training and expand their skills in service to our communities.

A special thank you to the instructors, organizers, and partner agencies who made this outstanding training experience possible. Your dedication to public safety and professional development helps make all of us stronger and better prepared.
