There's still time left to donate! Donate to our Kid-Friendly Food Drive! We are conducting a kid-friendly food drive through the end of June. Help to ensure that children in need continue to receive nutritious meals throughout the summer by donating the most needed items. Donations can be dropped off at any office. All items will be donated to the Community Food Bank of NJ, Southern Branch.

There's a lot going on, and seemingly a new stressful story in the news every day. From social media to school pressures to difficult news headlines, today's young people are dealing with a lot.

Parents can help their kids connect with resources for emotional and mental wellness support.

Make sure to point them to resources like 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline , NJ 211 and 2ndfloor Youth Helpline to get connected.

Juneteenth is not simply the day slavery ended for those still enslaved in Galveston, Texas. It’s a reminder that rights on paper don’t always become rights in practice.
When the Civil War ended, freedom had to be enforced. The promises of emancipation were met with resistance, violence, and systems designed to preserve inequality, many of which remain active today. Even after June 19, 1865, Black Americans faced Black Codes, convict leasing, voter suppression, segregation, and racial terror.
Juneteenth calls us to remember that progress has never been automatic. People and organizations in every generation have had to insist that America’s ideals apply to everyone.

As we celebrate, we honor those who refused to accept delayed justice and those who continue the work of building a more equitable future. Juneteenth isn’t just Black history. It’s American history, and a reminder that freedom requires vigilance, courage, and community.

Just a reminder to our amazing Cape May County Community the center will be closed this Thursday June 18th (if you're a new or expecting mom meet us at our community baby shower) & Friday June 19th we will also be closed in observance with Juneteenth (if you're free check out one of many amazing community Juneteenth celebrations going on)

We will reopen on Monday June 22nd at 11am!
