Harris County Constable Precinct One Foundation board members and Constable Rosen attended the Harmony House, Inc. Home”less” for the Holidays Luncheon in celebration of the amazing impact the non-profit has had in our community. We continue to be proud supporters of Harmony House and are committed to helping provide resources for those experiencing homelessness.

Our beautiful new worker dorm is open and accepting new clients! The cost is $70 per week and the only requirement is to have an ID and a job. Come by 702 Girard Street any time if you need a low-barrier housing option.

Fire at the Harmony House Residence for Men, organized by Meg Pohodich

Hello everyone. We have extremely sad news to share. Our worker dorm caught fire Tuesday morning and has been left with extreme damage and is uninhabitable. It displaced over 75 men who were already struggling with extreme barriers to housing and employment. We are raising money to help relocate them and provide the basic necessities for them to be able to maintain their job in a safe place while we rebuild. Please help and share! Thank you!!!!!

We have a client who is not able to take care of her sweet fur baby in her apartment anymore. Bella is not aggressive and deserves a great home too! Rescues have been contacted but no luck so far as many of them are at capacity. If anyone could help, please let us know. Her owner got her as a puppy in January of 2020 and she is up to date on vaccines but is not spayed. Spread the word and thank you! :)

Mr. Stephenson has been our client for the last 4 years until his health declined last month which led him to move to a rehab center in Beaumont. His mother just moved into the same rehab center as well so he got to see her for the first time since Hurricane Harvey! We are so happy they are able to be together. 🥰
