🌊🏠⏰DIY home protection in less than 30 minutes!

❓Did you know that you can use sandbags to block your doors as well as your garage before a flood?

All you need to do is place the sandbags about a foot away from your door, then stack them several layers high to prevent flooding.

Still need more❓ https://bit.ly/3yboI52

A quick Q&A for storm 🌧️ preparation
Q: What should you do during and/or after a storm?

A: Prepare to cover all window and door openings with shutters or other shielding materials. Check batteries and stock up on canned food, first aid supplies, drinking water, and medications. Prepare to bring inside lawn furniture and other loose, light- weight objects, such as garbage cans, garden tools, etc.

Is Project Dox working without issues?
I want to publicly recognize Ernest Carmona at the Houston Permitting Center for being one of a kind! Having him back in the New Home Review is like a breath of fresh air. I hope the people in upper management are reading these messages!
Hi all! ProjectDox is taking a while to send me an invitation to upload a project? Should I be concerned? I need to submit it before the deadline?
ProjectDox is freezing! I can't upload or submit plans. HELP please!
Hello all! I had a question about code enforcement for a house going up next to me. Could someone let me know if I am reaching out to the right department? Thanks in advance for your help!
Thank you for deleting my post. In fact, per the post below, the issues actually started on 12/11 And ARE STILL NOT RESOLVED. WHAT IS THE STATUS? WHY IS THE COH POINT PERSON FOR PD OFF UNTIL 1/4/2021/. TEN DAYS AND ISSUES PERSIST.
Since the repair issues on 12/14 PD has not worked consistently. Today has been a complete loss. It appears now the PD is shut down. Please advise ASAP

Houston permitting center discriminates their citizens and refuse to accommodate people with disabilities. After multiple attempts to ask for assistance on permits and communication via emails. They repeatedly ignore their citizens and just reject permit plans without even assisting citizens to ensure understanding. We attempted to work with Bill pirooz, Melanie chow, and Luke fry with no success repeatedly and yet they just continue to ignore emails asking for clarity. Houston Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities should look into training city staff to be more accommodating to disabled citizens using online methods to better communicate. Thank you.
Getting Licences
Melanie Chow needs to be Employee of the Year! She is able to effectively perform her duties while still showing humanity and compassion for those trying to navigate the system. We appreciate you, Melanie!
1. Why does no one pick up customer service line? 2. Why does customer service line even have a voice mail? Shouldn't there be someone there during regular business hours? 3. Why is it so hard to get transferred to the right department and have the person in that department answer the phone?
