Alief Youens Elementary School

Alief Youens Elementary School Alief ISD is a high performing, comprehensive K-12 public school district. The school was originally called Alief Elementary School.

The 2016-2017 school year will be the 52nd anniversary of Cynthia Youens Elementary School. In 1964 the school was renamed after Cynthia Youens a third grade teacher who taught in Alief for 20 years.

Youens Elementary – First Day of School

To ensure student safety and maintain an orderly arrival process, Youens Elementary will implement a Pre-Check-In system before the first day of school. Families who complete pre-check-in will receive a pass that streamlines parents being able to walk students to class on the first day of school. If you are unable to come pre-check in you will need to check in at the front office.
