This Sunday we will be celebrating Guan Yin Festival at our temple! Come and get some good luck blessings and enjoy some Lion Dance and Chinese Kung Fu!
Our performance will start after the blessing ceremony inside the temple! It should start around 11:45 am! Come early and grab a nice seat! Afterwards, a vegetarian plate lunch will be served in the cafeteria at the back of the temple! Donations are encouraged to help support the temple!
Feed the lion some red envelopes for good luck! Bring the kids and take pictures with the lion! See you all Sunday!

On Saturday, April 8 the International District held its annual kite festival on the grounds of the Alief Community Park and Gardens. Over 300 folks were on hand to join in the kite flying contest and to enjoy music, the monthly farmers market, and more. The event is held the 2nd Saturday in April each year.
