Details about 2025 BAAT Thingyan Picnic and Fundraising
Invitation
BAAT’s Annual Thingyan Picnic will be held at Bear Creek Park on Saturday, May 10, 2025. You and your family are cordially invited to join us for a day of fun, great food, music, fellowship, and networking. For this year, as a special event, there will be fundraising activities for Myanmar Earthquake Victims.
When: May 10, 2025 (Saturday) 11 am – 5:30 pm
Place: Bear Creek Park, Pavilion 6. Please see the map for location.
Lunch: BAAT will be selling a wrist band for $15 for each adult for food, desserts, and soft drinks. Children under the age of 10 are free of charge. All the proceeds minus the cost will be donated to Myanmar Earthquake Victims.
Directions: From Beltway 8, exit Clay Rd and go west (towards High-way 6) for about 4 to 5 miles. Pass Eldridge Road and War Memorial Drive. Turn left on Bear Creek Drive into Bear Creek Park.
From High-way 6, turn right on Clay Rd and go east. Turn Right again on Bear Creek Drive into Bear Creek Park. Please see the map for further clarification.
Special Announcement:
BAAT will have 3 door prizes ($75, $50, $25) We are also going to hold a live auction with Myanmar artifacts, Myanmar clothing and other valuable items. All the proceeds will go to the Myanmar Earthquake Victim fund. If you have any item to donate for auction, please bring it to the picnic.
