SUMMER PROGRAM FOR ADULT PATRONS

New this summer is our Thursday Matinees. On the last Thursday of each month in June, July, August and September, we will show an afternoon matinee. Our staff selected features that include a telling of one of our recent book club selections, two historical documentaries, and one comedy sure to have everyone in stitches.

Mark your calendar, tell your friends, and join us for Thursday Matinees this summer at the Chartiers-Houston Community Library!

All matinees are free! No registration required.

*Please note: "Suburban Fury" is a documentary not rated by the MPAA. There is no known inappropriate content. However, the documentary covers one of two attempts on former President Gerald Ford's life while he was in office in September 1975.

REMINDER:
We are now collecting baskets for the basket raffle that will take place during the Chartiers Parks & Recreation Charity Bingo on July 9, 2026.

Baskets can be dropped off at the library during our regular hours of operation. Please do not leave items outside in the elements when we are closed. If you know of a local business that can help, we do have request letters available at the circulation desk. Any and all help in gathering some wonderful basket donations is appreciated!

The Charity Bingo on July 9th will benefit the Chartiers-Houston Community Library. You can help make this a successful fundraiser for the library in various ways: basket donation, monetary donation for raffle items, and/or attendance at the event.

If you have any questions about basket donations, please contact library staff.

TEEN SCIENCE CAFE MEMBERS - Register for this live virtual event this evening!
