The acceptance of an applicant is based on the assessment of the multi-disciplinary team. Placement decisions are made following an assessment of the child's psychological evaluation, socil history, medical history, and any other relevant information. At the request of the multi-disciplinary team, sometimes a pre-admission screening interview may be required to determine appropriate treatment need

This morning I was at my desk and when I looked up this cross had fallen down. Of course I put new tape and put it back up. The story behind this cross is when I open up my first client made this for me from San Antonio. I remember it like yesterday this lil 12 year old boy with big eyes who needed us to care for him. I am proud of him today. He is doing well for himself πŸ™ πŸ‘‘ ❀️

All is well at Shamar Hope Haven
No flooding around the homes and lights stayed on God is so good. I can not thank Him enough for all what he is doing for us. I believe in Gods plan for the work we do with theses children in our care. Thank God for my staff that came in and worked 16 hours at a time thanks for the graveyard shift who also step up and came in to relieve the men so they can get some rest during the storm. I am forever grateful for what God has for us but most of all making a difference in these children's lives it's a blessing.
