The fireworks will still go off, our vendors will still be there, and we’ll be serving food—so grab your rain jacket or your sunglasses and come celebrate with us!

🎆 Join us for an evening of fun at the Hoyt Fire Department’s July 3rd Celebration! 🇺🇸

Come enjoy delicious food 🍔🌭, cool off with the Hoyt Methodist Church’s Ice Cream Social 🍦, and bring the kids to enjoy the bounce houses and browse our local vendors! There’s something for the whole family.

❤️ Food and ice cream are available for a free will donation. Proceeds from the Ice Cream Social will benefit Hoyt Methodist Church, and proceeds from the food will benefit the Hoyt Fire Department.

We can’t wait to celebrate with our amazing community. Bring your family, invite your friends, and come spend the evening with us!

Last night we trained on hydrant connections. We worked with our new firefighters on the proper way to "hook" the hydrant. As well as the different ports that hydrants may or may not have, and how to get the most water out of them. They learned what the different colors represent in regards to flow and pressure. We then transitioned into FDC [Fire Department Connections] on buildings, and how they work. As well as what to do when the connection is needed.
