🎯 BINGO! Making Division Fun in Ms. Wilson’s Class! ✖️➗
Who says practicing division facts can’t be fun?! 🤩
Ms. Wilson’s students put their math skills to work with a game of Division Bingo! Students used division mats featuring different problem-solving strategies to help them solve each division problem. They also made connections between division and the multiplication facts they already know. ✖️➗
Once students solved a problem and found the answer on their Bingo board, they got to mark that space and work their way toward BINGO! 🎉
We love seeing our Hawks build math confidence while learning, thinking, and having fun! 💛🖤

📷 Photo Description:
The photos show students in Ms. Wilson’s classroom participating in Division Bingo. Students sit at their desks with green Bingo boards, dry-erase markers, and division strategy mats. Several photos show students working out division problems directly on their desks or completing problems on their mats before locating the answers on their Bingo boards. Other photos show students smiling and proudly holding up their marked Bingo boards. Two class photos show Ms. Wilson and her students celebrating the activity together while students display their boards.

🍎 Celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day in Kindergarten! 🍏

Mrs. Byrd’s kindergarten class had a sweet way to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day today! ❤️💚💛

After learning about Johnny Appleseed, students participated in an apple tasting and tried different varieties of apples. Then they recorded their favorites on an Apple Tasting Pictograph, turning their celebration into a fun learning experience! 🍎📊

What a great way to combine literature, history, math, and a little tasty learning! We love seeing our youngest Hawks learning through hands-on experiences! 💛🖤

The students are smiling and posing together after completing the activity. 🍎🍏💛

🧮 Hands-On Math in Mrs. T. Smith’s Class!

Mrs. T. Smith’s students are building their multiplication skills—literally! 🤩 Students used base-ten blocks to model multiplication and introduce the partial products strategy.

Working with partners and small groups, students arranged hundreds flats, tens rods, and ones to create visual models of multiplication problems. They then connected those models to the partial products they recorded on their desks. This hands-on approach helps students see how larger multiplication problems can be broken into smaller, more manageable parts. ✖️💡

Way to make math meaningful, Hawks! 💛🖤
