We’re currently caring for a pup here at the Inkster police station. We need your help finding her family. Or placing her in a new home.

Female- Pitty Mix- Black and White. Weighs about 55-65 pounds. Approximately 4-6 years old. Was brought in on 06/23/26. Will be up for adoption 06/26/26. She is friendly. Looks like she had a litter. Slightly skittish. Was found with a Cane Corso on Helen and Woodland.

Male- Cane Corso- Brindle Brown Black and White. Weighs about 85-105 pounds . 3-5 year old. Was brought in on 06/23/26 be up for adoption 06/26/26. Friendly with people. Was found with the black and white female Pitty on Helen and Woodland.

Female- Mastiff Mix-  Brindle Black and Brown. Weighs about 85-100 pounds. Approximately 4-6 years old. Was brought in on 06/21/26. Will be up for adoption 06/24/26. She is friendly. Looks like she had a litter.

The Westland Police request the public's assistance in locating Aalyiah Adams-Perry (16).

Aalyiah left her home in the 1500 block of John Hix Road voluntarily.

It is not known what she was last seen wearing.

Male- Pitty Mix- White and black. Weighs about 35-45 pounds . Approximately 7-10m Up for adoption immediately. Very friendly. High energy. No chip. Found around Dearborn view apartment. With leash and collar.

The tan one is a girl also the brindle with full white chest. 1 boy which is the other brindle one. Belgian Malinois Mix Pit. Approximately 2-3 months old. Color - Tan/ Brindle Brown.

🖤 IN MEMORIAM 🖤

Today, the Inkster Police Department pauses to honor and remember Officer Kenneth Woodmore, a dedicated public servant whose commitment to protecting and serving our community will never be forgotten.

Officer Woodmore answered the call to serve with courage, professionalism, and compassion. His service and sacrifice remain a lasting part of the history and legacy of the Inkster Police Department.

As we reflect on his life and service, we extend our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, fellow officers, and all those whose lives he touched.

Though years may pass, we will always remember the men and women who wore the badge before us and helped shape our department and community.

Gone, but never forgotten.
