*No non-water bottles were harmed in the making of this video. And no non-water bottle was filled with anything non-potable*

Sometimes you gotta mix it up! Just make sure you're drinking water, because that is really important for your body and your brain! And when your brain is supported, you are supported, and you're better able to make good choices and make it through challenging times.

So, here's your check-in for today:

- Have you drunken any water today? (Coffee does not count!)

- Have you eaten however many meals for the time of day it is? (Actual meals, not just snacks!)

- Did you spend a few minutes not on your phone, and not stressing out about things, but just taking a stroll down the street or looking out your window or otherwise not doomscrolling? (You can always bloomscroll looking for positive bits, but you also should look beyond your screen!)

- Were you able to get a good night sleep? (We know this can be a challenge! Can you take a power nap?)

Let us know! We're here to cheer you on!

We're not here to be PR or give you a bunch of business-speak mumbo jumbo.

Survivors are living in real situations, with actual life or death circumstances in many cases (even if it is just the ability to safely live their life).

Our team is made up of people who understand what you're going through, and who are here for you, and who are going to be real with you. Some of us are bubbly and goofy, some are more serious, all are here for you.

No matter if you have a question on how to help someone you know, or if you are living in a domestic violence situation and need our help, our phone lines are open 24/7!

Wishing everyone in our community a peaceful and meaningful memorial day. 🇺🇲Thank you to all the brave men and women who...

Have we mentioned that we have the best team?

Of course what we focus on could be very dark, and we could fall into the holes of horror that we have to face every day, but at the end of the day, who does that help?

The truth is we have an amazing team, we love helping people, and at the end of the (long) days, we know that men and women and children are living safer lives through our work. And that is what matters more than anything.

Our goal is to have a county without domestic violence, where people can live happy lives in solid relationships with partners who support them and who they support. Might seem like a crazy dream, but what is the point of life if not for crazy dreams?

Not all domestic violence is blood and broken bones. It can also be overbearing control, cutting of contact with friends and family, manipulating finances, preventing you from moving freely in your life.

If you or someone you know is living in a domestic violence situation, please reach out to us. We are here to help!

Not everyone is a bubbly extrovert, and that's totally fine! Coming to group activities isn't for everyone. Just like talking to someone one-on-one isn't for everyone, and some people do better in a group setting.

You don't have to come be silly in our social media videos to volunteer with us. And you don't have to be down for super high-energy conversations if you need help from us.

We're here to meet you where you're at.

All you have to do is give us a call. Our phones are open 24/7.

The best part about our team is we really do have the best team!

It is easy to take life too seriously, especially when you're already dealing with really stressful and very dangerous situations.

But when survivors need support, they need humanity, compassion, and care, which is a lot easier to do when you've got a great team of advocates who truly love their jobs and love helping people.

From our community outreach to our events and fundraisers to our donation center and resources for survivors, we're here for our community. And we're lucky to have every single one of our incredible team here for those who need our support!

It's OK. We know a queen when we see one and Kelly Clarkson forever!

Living in a domestic situation where you need to talk to someone who understands but you don't know who to call? Call us.

Have a friend or someone going through something you don't understand? Reach out. We're here to help.
