As Californians who are deeply involved in aging and disability issues, you have a unique perspective on where the state can do better to support older adults and people with disabilities.

On behalf of a statewide partnership of aging and disability funders and organizations, we invite older adults, people with disabilities, their families, loved ones, caregivers, advocates, and others who are connected to these issues to help craft a new agenda for California’s next Governor.

Your personal expertise and lived experience are critical. We want to ensure the next Administration’s priorities are directly informed by those affected by state policies and programs. Our partnership is currently developing ideas and key messages for the next Administration, and we invite you to be part of this effort.

Safe Homes for O.C. Seniors Grants of Up to $20,000!

The Safe Homes for O.C. Seniors Program provides grants of up to $20,000 to help eligible homeowners complete repairs that improve the safety, accessibility, and overall condition of their homes. The Program is funded by Orange County Housing & Community Development and administered by CivicStone, Inc.

You May Qualify If You:
• Are 62 years of age or older
• Own and occupy your home
• Meet Program income requirements
• Reside in Laguna Hills or another participating Orange County city or eligible unincorporated area

Eligible Improvements May Include:
• Roof repairs
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• Grab bars
• Bathroom accessibility modifications
• Wheelchair ramps
• Heating and energy-efficiency improvements
• Code violation corrections
• Other eligible health and safety repairs
