GSF Foundation

GSF Foundation The GSF Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life of children and families in need.

The GSF Foundation provides strategic financial and volunteer assistance to hundreds of nonprofit organizations that need support in bringing hope and healing to children and families in need. This includes those without homes or life’s basic necessities, who have been abused or neglected, who are mentally or physically challenged, who have terminal illnesses and other at-risk individuals. The Fou

ndation provides this support through its various programs, educational tools, healthy lifestyle opportunities and financial donations. The GSF Foundation is funded through annual campaigns, fundraisers and individual contributions. Because it’s volunteer-run, 100 percent of associate financial contributions go directly to help those in need.

🎒📚 Helping students start the school year ready to learn!

Thanks to a longstanding partnership between The Morning Star Packing Company and the GSF Foundation, volunteers distributed approximately 450 backpacks filled with school supplies to first-grade students at four Los Banos elementary schools this month. The annual program, now in its 18th year, helps ensure local students have the tools they need for a successful school year.

Year after year, Morning Star's commitment to the Foundation's Back(pack) to School program continues to strengthen local communities by investing in the next generation of learners. ❤️

In the latest ❤️ 🫶🏻 interview, GSF Foundation Executive Director Vanessa Hugon Badal sat down with Quality Custom Distribution Routing Engineer Rebecca Botha to learn how a passion for giving back led Rebecca to join the QCD Frisco Foundation Committee.

By sharing her operational expertise and training support with Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, Rebecca helped improve delivery efficiency, making it possible to get more food into the hands of families facing hunger. Skills-based volunteering represents a key opportunity for associates to heighten their community impact on Foundation programs like Focus on Food, among others.

We’re grateful for the generosity of our QCD Charlotte, North Carolina GSFF volunteers for helping gather and transport critical relief supplies for families impacted by the earthquakes in Venezuela. ❤️

Moments like these remind us what’s possible when people unite to help others. 🤝🌎

When communities come together, hope travels far. ❤️🌎 QCD Charlotte, North Carolina proudly partnered with Convoy of Hope to support humanitarian relief efforts for Venezuela following the recent earthquakes. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Charlotte community, 30 pallets of essential supplies headed south to help earthquake victims.

From first aid kits, clothing, and camping gear to dry food, dog food, sleeping bags, and flashlights, every donated item carried comfort, care, and compassion. 📦

A special thank you to QCD Charlotte driver Jonathan Boan, who delivered the supplies to Miami, Florida earlier this week, moving this critical shipment one step closer to those who need it most.
