The Jackson Police Department has been made aware of a fraudulent social media post inviting the community to participate in an unauthorized game at our department on Halloween night. I want to reassure our residents that this flyer is an entirely fabricated prank.
Our personnel and resources are dedicated to protecting the citizens of Jackson, and we will not permit any activities that compromise the operational security of our police facilities or distract from public safety. We ask our community partners and media outlets to help clarify that this is not an official municipal event.
