⛳️Staff from the Janesville Police Department recently participated in the 19th Annual YWCA Rock County CARE House Golf Outing in support of an organization that provides critical services to children and families throughout Rock County.

The YWCA CARE House is the county’s only child advocacy center, offering a safe and supportive environment where children who may have experienced abuse or neglect can be interviewed by law enforcement and partner agencies. Through a multidisciplinary team approach, children only have to share their story once, helping reduce additional trauma while ensuring they receive the care and support they need.

This year, our team had a special four-legged participant, K9 Maui, who quickly discovered that golf balls are not approved K9 training aids. Maui’s golf game may still need some work...

We are proud to support the CARE House and its mission of providing compassionate services to children and families in our community. Thank you to the YWCA CARE House for the important work you do every day, and to everyone who helped make this event a success. 💙🐾⛳
