Tonight was Madison Elementary’s turn to showcase our amazing and dedicated Principal Mrs. Stephanie Filter at the Janesville School Board meeting. Our District is so very lucky to have had this one of a kind lady with all her amazing talents for 32 years! Fourth grade Finn and Kindergartner Rorie came to recite the pledge of allegiance. A well known tradition at every school board meeting! I may be a little biased but they did a fantastic job!!

Thank you Janesville Walmart for choosing Madison Elementary to spoil with snacks and gift cards! On top of that they gave even more so we could share with the Washington Elementary staff that we are blessed to have with us in our final weeks of the school year!

Before the April flooding these boys from Washington and Madison Elementary have played Basketball and Baseball together for years! They now attend the same school at Madison due to the extensive damage done to Washington by the flooding. This past weekend these boys won the Spring Fling 10U Baseball Championship for the Janesville J’s! Congratulations Boys on this well deserved win! !!

In honor of Mother’s Day, we had our annual send off last week for the Momma duck and her ducklings who nest every spring in our courtyard.
