Meet the PTA! Lots of new and exciting things happening this year!

We are excited to introduce Ashley Hill, Lincoln Elementary's PTA Secretary! She’s been lucky enough to be part of the Lincoln Elementary family for five years. Ashely absolutely love working with our kids, getting to know their personalities, and watching them grow! She started as a paraprofessional and now also serve as our Family Resource Coordinator and PTA Secretary. The kids are truly the best part of her day, and she love being someone they know is always in their corner!

We are excited to introduce Carrie Mergen, Lincoln Elementary's PTA Vice President! Carrie is a dedicated face at Lincoln entering her 20th year as an educator in the school community she loves so dearly! Currently serving as the Academic Learning Coach and Building Assistant, Carrie is thrilled to expand her impact this year as the new Vice President of the PTA. Deeply committed to supporting students, staff, and families alike, she cannot wait to step into this new role and continue making Lincoln a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We are excited to introduce Katelyn Wiltsey, Lincoln Elementary's PTA President! Katelyn is a Speech-Language Pathologist and is beginning her 5th year at Lincoln, where she is passionate about helping students grow and succeed.

When she's not at school, Katelyn enjoys working on puzzles, riding rollercoasters, and spending quality time with her husband and their two sons.

She is excited to serve the Lincoln community and looks forward to working with our families, staff, and students to make this another amazing school year!

Summer may be a break from the classroom, but the learning continues for our staff! This week, members of our team had the opportunity to attend a PLC Conference together, where they collaborated, learned from educators across the country, and explored strategies to strengthen teaching and learning.

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we're focusing on one important question: How can we ensure high levels of learning for every student? Through collaboration, reflection, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement, we're building plans that will help every child thrive.

We can't wait to welcome our students back and put these ideas into action. Here's to a summer of learning, growing, and preparing for an incredible school year ahead! 💙💛🍎🦁
