Coffee lovers don’t really need a day of celebration to recognize the enticing qualities of a good cup of joe. Nevertheless, we’ve got one and it’s today! Many major coffee chains across the United States are celebrating today by offering free or discounted coffee drinks. Some folks like to take this opportunity to support their local independent coffee shop by stopping by to purchase their favorite traditional or specialty brew. Happy National Coffee Day!

We’re proud to launch the Duplin Coalition for Health’s 2nd Annual County-Wide Food Collection Drive, running October 1st through November 16th!

Just like last year, all food donations will be given to Duplin Christian Outreach Ministries (DCOM), which oversees seven food pantries serving families across Duplin County.

Collection boxes will be placed at multiple locations county-wide, along with this flyer listing needed items and the organizations partnering in this year’s drive. Your support helps keep shelves stocked with nutritious, meaningful foods for our neighbors.

Let’s work together to reach our goal of over 2,000 lbs of food this year!
