Living Waters Community Development Project

Living Waters Community Development Project Is 41:17. The afflicted and needy are seeking water, but there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst.

I, the LORD, will answer them Myself, as the God of Israel I will not forsake them. "For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters.” (Revelation 7:17)

The current clinic LWCDP built in Chemususu village, Kenya serves hundreds of families each month. Some of the services provided include: family planning, antenatal care, HIV testing/counseling, health education, child welfare clinic, and dispensing medication. After the Biwotts visit in December, we decided to expand to meet even more healthcare needs for more people. This first phase of expansion, which includes living quarters for healthcare workers, will be completed this month!

In 2012, LWCDP helped make clean water a reality for hundreds of people in Metipso and neighboring communities. In 2014, a neighborhood clinic was built thanks to LWCDP donors and now basic medical help is within walking distance.

Community Development Project - Stage 3 (Community Center)

The community center which will be dedicated in memory of Isaac Biwott will be built in the village of Chemususu to serve the needs of the surrounding primary schools and communities. The center will include a library that will provide access to Internet and print literature for all ages, as well as information about international scholarships at colleges and universities abroad. The center will also serve as a place to receive and distribute donations of clothing, food, and school supplies, as well as a space to engage in community meetings and intramural sports. Housing will also be built for volunteers who wish to provide free services at the community center or nearby clinic.

Can you paint, build shelves, install plumbing? Please consider helping with LWCDP's next project and volunteer to be a part of a mission team to restore a clinic that will provide health care to villagers in Kenya.

The 220m borehole has been drilled:)! The people are SO grateful...there was joyful weeping...quite humbling. Please help finish this water project. We have paid more than half of the drilling cost, and now that it is complete, we must pay the balance of $7000. Pump installation ($8000) will follow. Go to "Products" on our Info page, click on the secure link, or mail a tax deductible donation. Any amount, big or small, is appreciated...we can not finish this without you! God bless...
