Thank you Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis for allowing us to speak at your weekly meeting. Community involvement and staff mental health are a few of the areas we proudly prioritize.

Today, 15 members of our Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club attended our weekly meeting. We also had two guests/future members. Our guest speaker today was LT. Jason Elsbury with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
The Lieutenant over sees Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley to north Lake Havasu City. He looks at Law Enforcement in 2026 as a service organization over enforcement. He also detailed his view on mental health for his entire staff.

Most of Mohave County is under an Extreme Heat Watch starting tomorrow, lasting until 8pm on Friday. Prepare for higher temps, hydrate, and know the signs and symptoms of heat illness.

The moisture is moving out and the heat is moving back in - an Extreme Heat Watch has been issued for much of the Mojave Desert region Tuesday through Friday. Stay hydrated and be prepared for hot temps outdoors.

🎃 Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Candy Crawls Are Coming! 🍭

Join us for our annual Candy Crawl events, hosted by our Mohave County Sheriff's Office Public Outreach Program, and help us create a safe, fun Halloween experience for local youth!

📍 Kingman: October 30- Mohave County Sheriff's Office
📍 Lake Havasu City: October 31- The Shops at Lake Havasu

We’re seeking community support through donations of candy, decorations, and funding to keep these beloved events going strong. Your generosity helps us provide a safe trick‑or‑treat environment alongside public safety, partner agencies, fire services, and local organizations.

We’re also looking for volunteers for setup, character cast roles, booth operations, and tear‑down, a fun and rewarding way to get involved!
