Connect with Cubs for Christ & Fellowship of Christian Athletes kicked off their first monthly meeting on Thursday with an amazing lineup. Students raced to connect blocks across the cafeteria, signed posters for our Global Day of Student Prayer (9/23/26), enjoyed delicious donuts, and heard an inspiring message about belonging from a community member. These Bearcubs showed teamwork, faith, and fellowship while strengthening our school community! 🐻💙✨

Our 8th grade scientists are diving into their force and motion unit in Mrs. Stringfield’s class, and one brave Bearcub took center stage to sing our Newton's First Law review song! This is what learning looks like at Kleb - where science meets creativity, confidence soars, and every student has the chance to shine while mastering important concepts. Way to show that Bearcub courage! 🐻🔬✨

This week's Staff Spotlight shines bright on Mrs. Jennifer Richardson, one of Kleb's spectacular theater teachers! 🎭✨

With 15 years at Kleb and 23 years in education, Mrs. Richardson isn't just teaching theater—she's living it! This Spring native earned her Bachelor's in Theater Arts from St. Edwards University in Austin on a theater scholarship (because of course she did!), and later added a Master's in School Leadership from Sam Houston State University to her repertoire. Talk about a standing ovation-worthy resume!

Here's a plot twist worthy of the stage: Mrs. Richardson met her husband Tom on a mission trip to Matamoros, Mexico—attending with completely different friend groups! Thirty-two years together and twenty years of marriage later, they're still writing their love story. Tom's Klein roots run deep—he and his sisters attended both Kleb and Klein High, making the Richardsons true Klein Family through and through.

Speaking of family, their two kids are following their own dreams with an entrepreneurial spirit! Daughter Caroline is shining at Klein High doing tech theater with hair and makeup, with dreams of owning her own salon one day. Son Luke is a freshman at Texas State with plans to run an electrical company with his dad. Both are Kleb alumni with big business goals ahead!

At home, the Richardson household is never boring thanks to JJ, a rescue pup who channels his inner Eeyore, and Charlie, a cat with a serious identity crisis who thinks he's a dog. Charlie's commitment is so real that he even taught himself how to use the bells when he wants to go outside!

When she's not inspiring young thespians, you'll find Mrs. Richardson painting, swimming, spending time with friends, and doing her absolute favorite thing—laughing. She brings that same joy to Kleb every single day, lighting up the theater alongside her amazing counterpart, Mrs. Duty.

Mrs. Richardson's secret to happiness? Finding joy in life and sharing it with her "little humans," as she lovingly calls her students. And honestly? We're so grateful she's only four minutes from her childhood home and her parents—because that means she's never far from Kleb, where she belongs! 🌟

Encore, Mrs. Richardson! We're lucky to have you! 👏

Our talented Kleb Choir students absolutely SHINED last night as they performed the national anthem at the Houston Astros game! These incredible Bearcubs represented our school with excellence, confidence, and pure heart as they sang in front of thousands of fans at Minute Maid Park. This unforgettable experience showcases the dedication and talent of our students, and we couldn't be more proud of how they embodied our school values of excellence and belonging! A huge shoutout to Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Chrest for preparing our students for this once-in-a-lifetime moment—your leadership and passion for music education made this dream a reality! 🎶🌟

Mrs. Cosme kicked off the year with the first Craft Club meeting, and it was a creative success! Our talented Bearcubs jumped right in with enthusiasm and imagination, setting the tone for an amazing year of artistic fun. We can't wait to see all the incredible projects our crafty crew will create this year! ✨

Our 6th grade science classes had an amazing multi-day experience with the Klein ISD STEAM Express—a custom-built mobile classroom that brought unique activities and incredible science experiments right to our campus! Our Bearcubs explored, experimented, and expanded their minds with hands-on learning that sparked curiosity and creativity at every turn. This is the kind of innovative education that makes us proud to be part of the Klein Family, and our 6th graders absolutely crushed it! 🔬✨

Mrs. Davis’ biology students dove into an exciting milk lab this week, where they had hands-on experience investigating how biomolecule structures directly impact their functions—talk about bringing textbook concepts to LIFE! Through observation, investigation, and explanation, our future scientists made powerful real-world connections between molecular structure, chemical properties, and how these biomolecules work in living systems. This is what learning looks like when curiosity meets discovery, and we couldn't be more proud of our Bearcubs for embracing the wonder of science! 🐻💙
