We are SWORPS (Social Work Office of Research and Public Service), the community outreach arm of the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Thank you to University of Tennessee Social Work Office of Research and Public Service staff for compiling this comprehensive report on the City’s Project TLC. This report shows a significant drop in violent crime since the inception of this program. For example, homicides are down 67 percent in Project TLC zones.
