Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Kim are warmly invited to celebrate her beautiful life on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Gathering Point Church in Dayton, Indiana at 7201 Wesleyan Dr, Dayton, IN 47941. Public visitation will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1:30 PM, officiated by Pastor Ryan VanMatre. In a highly sentimental and special tribute to their beautiful love story, a song Tony had made for Kim will be played during the service. A graveside burial will immediately follow the church service at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Cemetery, where Kim will be laid to rest. Tippecanoe Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to take Kim into our care and make arrangements for the family.

Today, I am sharing something I never imagined I would have to share.

For the past eight years, I had the privilege of having Kim as part of our LHA team. She wasn't simply an employee who worked for me—she was someone I cared about deeply and a very special part of our LHA family.

Kim brought so much more than eight years of service to LHA. She cared about the people she helped, supported her coworkers, and brought her own personality, VOICE and heart to our office. When someone is part of your team for that many years, they become part of the everyday moments, memories, laughter, challenges, and successes that make an organization a family. We all loved her apple dessert!!

We had all been looking forward to welcoming Kim back to work, which makes losing her even more difficult to comprehend.

I will miss Kim tremendously, both personally and professionally. LHA will not be the same without her, and I know her absence will be felt by so many of the landlords, clients, coworkers, and community members whose lives she touched over the years.

My heart is with her husband, her beautiful daughters, her grandchildren who she adored, her friends, her fur babies, and everyone who loved her.

Rest peacefully, Kim. Thank you for eight years of dedication, friendship, laughter, and memories. You will be deeply missed and always remembered. 💜

These everyday essentials are some of our most requested items and help provide comfort, dignity, and care to our guests each day. We kindly ask that all underwear donations be new and unused.
