DID YOU KNOW?

Us, Veterans, could become medically incapacitated or pass away at any time. While it isn’t something we tend to dwell on or discuss, there are some basic measures we should take now, while we can.

When the time comes, someone you love will have to make the necessary arrangements for your final departure.

Do they know where your important documents are located? (DD Form 214, deeds, vehicle titles, Social Security/pension/ other retirement paperwork and banking information)

Even if you have preplanned or prepaid burial arrangements and a list of your final wishes, having a centralized location for your documents and letting your loved ones know where to find them are IMPERATIVE.

Warren County Veterans’ Services assist surviving spouse/children and/or friends, relatives who often have a difficult time locating essential paperwork for filing VA claims after their beloved Veteran has passed.

Help ease their burden in an already difficult time by having your papers organized and easy to locate.
