Friends of the Lake Worth Beach Library We support the Lake Worth Public Library. Founded in 1988, the Friends is a 501(c)3 organization.

Here is where you can find out what the Lake Worth Library and its supporters are doing. The library has been a part of city life since before the city was incorporated, and those of us who support it mean to keep it that way. Through kids programs during the summer and the school year, development of the collections to suit the needs of city residents, providing internet access, and hosting of authors the library is a part of downtown life that the Friends support and cherish.

You are cordially invited to join the Friends of the Library of the City of Lake Worth Beach in celebrating our dear friend, Cindy Ansell, as she retires from a spectacular 34 year career dedicated to supporting our beloved City Library and expanding literacy in our city and surrounding communities. The retirement party will take place Saturday, August 15 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Lake Worth Beach Casino Ballroom. Food, beverages and desserts will be served.
