Have you started your Summer Reading log yet?

For every half hour or hour read, you can earn one raffle ticket for one of these big prizes donated by Smile Doctors Orthodontics - Laramie! Kids under 12 can earn one raffle ticket per half hour reading or being read to, and teens and adults can earn one raffle ticket per hour of reading. 🙌

With everything from a drone to a Hot Cheetos Snuggie, there's a prize everyone can feel excited about!

Stop by the library any time we're open to sign up for Summer Reading, turn in logs for prizes, and fill out raffle tickets. You can earn prizes all summer long, until August 16!

Yesterday, with the help of University of Wyoming Geological Museum, we hosted our Dig into Wyoming Fossil and Gem Discovery event! 🦴

We had so many kids exploring dinosaurs and fossils with us. 🙌 With all the different stations, we never ran out of something fun to do! Thanks to all who joined us for this program.

Every Tuesday afternoon this summer, we will be hosting a special program! Join us next week when we have Top Hogs of the Wild West with us at 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. There's still a whole summer full of fun to have! 🤩

We welcomed the Castleman Quartet Program to ACPL today, where they played some beautiful music for our patrons. 🙌 It was an honor to have them stop by and show off their talents!

The Castleman Quartet Program will be playing free concerts at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts this week. Link in bio for more info!

Be sure to stop by ACPL and grab an Anywhere Adventures Adventure Log! 🙌 Learn more about Laramie’s history with the Anywhere Adventures website and fill out your Laramie locations in the log to earn a prize from us. 🤩 This is a great way to get out in the community this summer and learn things you might not have known about Laramie and Cheyenne!

Our third annual Meet the Author Festival is coming up this September! 🙌 The Meet the Author Festival is a way to celebrate and promote authors in our area. We love being able to connect our patrons to authors and facilitate conversations. This year, our Meet the Author Festival will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.

Are you a local or regional author interested in connecting with ACPL's patrons? You can apply to attend the festival now! Applications must be submitted by July 31. Authors will be notified by August 7.

We had an absolute blast this weekend kicking off our 2026 Summer Reading Program! 🤩

Have you seen our dinosaur themed library yet? 🦕

TODAY, June 6, is the start of our Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story! You can find us at Washington Park Shelter #1 this afternoon from 1-3, or stop in any time starting today to get signed up for Summer Reading. You can sign up all summer long as well! 🌞

Readers of all ages can earn raffle tickets for big prizes from Smile Doctors Orthodontics - Laramie while also earning smaller prizes throughout the summer. We'll also be hosting a variety of fun events all summer long! Stay tuned to learn more about each program.
