Join us, The Castleman Quartet Program, and The University of Wyoming Department of Music for an afternoon of beautiful music at ACPL on Monday, June 15!

The Castleman Quartet Program was founded in 1970 by legendary violinist Charles Castleman and has earned an international reputation for cultivating exceptional young chamber musicians through intensive study, collaboration, and performance. This summer, CQP alumni Dr. John Fadial and Dr. Beth Vanderborgh are excited to bring the program to Laramie for CQPW's inaugural season.

Audiences will have the opportunity to hear these outstanding young musicians showcase the extraordinary talent, artistry, and energy that define the Castleman Quartet Program experience. 🙌

We are BACK from our Memorial Day closure!

Starting today, our new summer hours will be in effect. We will now be closed on Sundays along with Wednesdays. We will be back to our regular Sunday hours after Labor Day!

These hours will allow our staff to make this summer the best we can. 🙌 We can't wait for all the summer fun coming soon!

Last weekend, we had our last Adult Crafternoon of the season! We used recycled books to make fun crafts, including pinwheels, black out poetry, keychains, and more. 🙌 Thank you to everyone who came and participated!

We've had a great time hosting Adult Crafternoons this spring/fall. From bedazzled books to vision boards to book totes, we've loved seeing everyone get creative and express themselves with crafts!

With summer coming up, we won't host another monthly Adult Crafternoon until September. However, you will be able to take Adult Crafternoon home with you each month of summer with our Take and Make Kits! Keep an eye out for those starting in June. 👀

Thanks again to everyone who crafted with us! We can't wait to start up again in the fall. 🤩

What’s the story behind everyone’s favorite T-Rex, Rexy? 🤔🦖

Vivian Li, the Library of Congress Innovator in Residence, is sharing the research she’s done behind many Laramie and Cheyenne staples! Vivian is the genius behind Anywhere Adventures, a mobile website where you can explore Southeastern Wyoming’s history via incredible research and very cute illustrations, all from Vivian. 🙌

Want to learn how to do this kind of research yourself? ACPL, along with the Library of Congress and , will be hosting History Mysteries on Sunday, May 31 at 2 p.m. Stop by to learn more about how you can do your own research for fun using the Library of Congress and your local library!
