For our May selection, the book club read Twice by Mitch Albom. This novel is categorized as a time travel fantasy. Mitch Albom has written many books, including Tuesdays with Morrie and The Five People You Meet in Heaven. The main character in Twice has the gift of being able to go back in time to try to correct his mistakes, both in his career and in his love life. But there are rules, and there are consequences to changing the past. The book club had a good discussion about whether it's a good idea to try to change what has already happened. Some members thought there were inconsistencies in the way the time travel worked, but overall they liked the book, giving it a 3.3 out of 5. The Goodreads rating is 4.3.
