πŸ’œ Time to remember. Time to act.

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to overdose, stand with the families and friends who carry that loss, and honor every person working toward recovery.

At the Lebanon Recovery Center, we also recognize that remembrance must be paired with action. That means reducing stigma, talking openly about substance use, connecting people with support, carrying naloxone, and reminding our community that recovery is possible and help is available. πŸ’œ

πŸ’œWe recover together.

Tomorrow, Team Sharing-PA will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of International Overdose Awareness Day with a Ceremony of Remembrance at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex in Harrisburg.

For the Lebanon Recovery Center, this day carries an important message: every life matters, every loss deserves to be remembered, and every person seeking recovery deserves connection, dignity, and hope.

The event will include a memorial display, resource village, speakers, overdose prevention education, Narcan distribution, a dove release, and a closing butterfly release.
