35 years of giving. A new opportunity to make an even greater impact.

In honor of CFBC's 35th anniversary, we're inviting donors to join the 35 Society with a gift of $3,500 to support the future of Boone County.

Thanks to a 2:1 matching opportunity through Lilly Endowment Inc.'s GIFT IX initiative, an eligible $3,500 gift to CFBC's unrestricted endowment can become $10,500 invested in our community.

Make a difference. Make it here.

CFBC has received a $1.5 million matching fund grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. through its Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT IX) initiative! 🎉

The grant will help grow CFBC's unrestricted endowment, providing flexible funding to address Boone County's changing needs and support local nonprofits for generations to come.

Through this opportunity, every qualifying $1 donated to CFBC's unrestricted endowment unlocks an additional $2 from Lilly Endowment Inc. That's three times the impact for Boone County!

As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, this investment is about more than what we can accomplish today. It's about building the resources to make a difference for decades to come. 💛

We’re grateful to our sponsors, silent auction donors, planning committee and everyone who helped behind the scenes. Your support and hard work brought it all together.

Every ticket purchased and item donated supported CFBC’s work in Boone County. Thank you for being part of it!

Small signatures. A big thank you. 💙

The kids at Catch the WAVE: Thorntown sent us this poster after a trip to US Aggregates, the first of their field trips supported by a recent CFBC Programming Grant. They came back with rocks, new knowledge and plenty of ideas for their next projects.

WAVE provides children in Western Boone County Community School Corporation with activities, homework help and a meal two afternoons a week in Thorntown. We’re proud to support opportunities that give these kids more to explore.

Thank you, WAVE! This was a pretty wonderful addition to our day.

Our 35th anniversary is a moment to celebrate how far Boone County has come and invest in where it goes next.

The 35 Society is open through December 31, 2026. A gift of $3,500 or more to a CFBC fund welcomes you into this anniversary-year group of donors. And, if you choose to support an unrestricted fund, your gift may qualify for a 2-to-1 match while matching dollars are available. That could turn $3,500 into $10,500 for Boone County.

There are fewer than three months left to be part of it. Learn more: https://communityfoundationbc.org/cfbc-launches-the-35-society-in-celebration-of-35-years-of-impact/

We love seeing our team serving alongside organizations making a difference in Boone County. 🏠

Yesterday, our Director of Communications, Samantha Cotten, joined Team Nailed It! for Habitat for Humanity of Boone County (Indiana) Women Build.

Samantha and her team spent the day sheathing the roof of a future home, tackling plenty of heavy lifting and heights along the way. 🔨

Thank you to Habitat for Humanity of Boone County for bringing women together to roll up their sleeves, work hard, and help a local family build a place to call home.

You can find Phil hanging out on the bench at Alley Oop, dressed for the occasion and ready to celebrate 35 years of making a difference in Boone County.

If you’re downtown, stop by and wish Phil a happy birthday. And definitely grab a photo with him. He’s been dying to see you. 💀
