We’re excited to announce that Ranger Thomas has successfully completed the police academy and our Field Training Program! He’s now officially out patrolling our 22,000 acres, helping keep our parks safe and welcoming for everyone.

Celebrating our Jackson County Park Rangers!

Our Park Rangers are hard at work every day, helping keep Jackson County Parks + Rec safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.

From assisting visitors and promoting park safety to protecting our parks, waterways, wildlife and natural and cultural resources, their work reaches across our entire park system. They patrol our parks and trails, enforce park regulations, respond when help is needed and work behind the scenes to protect the places so many of us enjoy.

Today, we simply want to take a moment to recognize the dedication and service of our Jackson County Park Rangers.

Thank you for all you do for our parks, our visitors and our community!
