We are so excited for our first plastic free party!!
Save the date - Sunday, July 26

Don't miss this fun, family friendly, free-of-plastic event ✨🌏🌈
THANK YOU Southern Tail Brewing for hosting this awesome day, and The Green Corner Store for your collaboration year after year!

On July 26th, we’re sitting with The Unplastics. ♻️💅✨

Join us for a Plastic Free July event inspired by a certain iconic burn book, but instead of spilling tea, we’re sharing practical ways to reduce waste, make more sustainable choices, and learn from local experts and vendors who are helping make a difference in our community.

Expect sustainability tips, eco-friendly vendors, hands-on learning, and plenty of opportunities to discover small changes that can have a big impact.

Because the environment is, like, really important. 🌎💚

Everybody lives in a watershed - but do you know the critical role they play in your everyday life?

Local nonprofits, state agencies, and community organizations will be on hand at the Streets to Streams Watershed Fair with interactive booths and demonstrations covering green infrastructure, water quality, tree planting, invasive plant removal, and more. Speakers from organizations including the Watershed Conservation Resource Center, Friends of Fourche Creek, and the Arkansas Department of Agriculture will share their expertise.

🌳 Pot a native tree sapling to take home
💧 Interactive water quality activities for kids (Project WET)
🥽 Try a VR headset to explore environmental careers
🐾 Learn why picking up after pets matters for water quality
🍔 Lunch provided at no cost!

Whether you're a curious resident, a family with kids, or someone working in land and facilities management, there's something here for everyone!
