Huge thank you to everyone who recycled with us during Earth Week last week.
Together, our community recycled over 1 million pounds of metal in just one week.
Because that metal goes back into producing new materials, it reduces the need for mining and energy-intensive processing.
That prevented about 11 million kg of CO₂ emissions, which is equivalent to taking about 2,500 cars off the road for a full year.
