This father's day weekend, we are very short on homebound delivery drivers. If you can help bring some of our community's dads and/or moms (who can't come to us) by delivering food either Saturday or Sunday, please email [email protected] right away and let them know what day, time and how many bags you can bring! Diversity is, and always has been, what makes America truly great.

On June 19th, 1865, the Emancipation Proclamation went into full effect in Texas (2 years delayed) and nearly 250,000 enslaved people were freed.

There is still a lot of work to be done for the Black community, but today we celebrate that huge step forward.

We also celebrate the absolute beauty that is the Black community! Talk about love. Strength. Joy. Style. Flavor. We owe so much of the "American experience" to Black people and culture.

Food insecurity is growing in the United States rapidly due to the rising cost of living and the declining government funding for food aid.

1 in 5 of our Long Beach neighbors struggles with food insecurity.

Help us be the difference between a week's worth of fresh food or hunger for our neighbors!

Volunteer, donate items, and tell your hairdresser friends about us! We're providing free haircuts to our less fortunate friends in the area on any weekend we get a hairdresser volunteer 😊

Same schedule, every single weekend for 8 years - all we've done is add more stops!

We look so forward to serving those in our community that need it most! We'll see you out there with fresh, locally sourced produce, more healthy grocery options, hygiene products, and donated clothes, shoes, books, belts etc. 💚
