GEH LAB is proud to be part of Peace Day Philly 2026 and to join organizations and individuals working to promote peace, dialogue, sustainability, and positive change.

This September, we invite you to participate in three inspiring virtual events:

Sept. 19 — GEH LAB’s 9th International Symposium: “Sustainable Peace for a Shared Future”
Sept. 21 — What Can We Do for Peace, a virtual program for the International Day of Peace
Sept. 24 — Peace Journalism During Hostile Times, exploring the role of journalism in promoting peace

Our symposium will bring together voices from around the world to share knowledge and practices related to peace, sustainability, global health, and the SDGs, and we are honored to feature a member of the Peace Day Philly community among our distinguished speakers.

🌱 Let’s learn, connect, and reflect on how we can contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable future—not just on Peace Day, but throughout the year.

In Indonesia, 63% of men smoke, making it the highest rate in the world.
Because of this, Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) has become the #1 cancer for men in the country.

But here is the “Knowledge Gap”:
✅ 82% of people know smoking is a risk.
⚠️ Only 37% think it could happen to them.

Most people don’t know the signs to look for, like a lump in the neck, a persistent sore throat, or difficulty swallowing.

Why does awareness matter?
Survival rate with early detection: 90%
Survival rate at advanced stages:
