When Heather began her rehabilitation journey, she faced significant mobility challenges. She had not walked since September 2025 and had been unable to complete transfers independently since January 2026. Despite these challenges, Heather approached each day of therapy with determination, perseverance, and a strong commitment to regaining her independence.
Today, Heather is celebrating an incredible accomplishment as she prepares to discharge home with her husband. Through her dedication and hard work, she is now able to transfer independently and walk short distances with a walker—milestones that once seemed out of reach.
Heather's remarkable progress is a true reflection of her strength, determination, and unwavering commitment to her rehabilitation goals. She credits the support and encouragement of the therapy team for helping her reach this important milestone.
"I am thankful for everyone's help," Heather shared. "I couldn't have done it without the therapy team. I'm going home because of them."
