Madison Area Embroiderers' Guild The Madison Area Embroiderers' Guild is a member of The Embroiderers' Guild of America.

The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc., (EGA) is a national non-profit educational organization offering study and preservation of the heritage and art of embroidery. EGA maintains an Embroidery Museum and Resource Center, located in Louisville, KY. The center is our primary location for education, distribution of needlework related materials, and publications to members and to the public. EGA m

embership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the professional. Members work within local chapters or a member-at-large network to improve their skills and knowledge. Chapters offer scheduled meetings, workshops, lectures, and stitch-ins
We offer individual and group correspondence courses and teacher and judge certification programs
Nine separate disciplines in master craftsman programs are offered
EGA and its chapters regularly hold workshops featuring local, national and internationally recognized artists
A national, juried exhibit is sponsored every three years with both members and non-member submissions
