North Star Math 6 and Accelerated Math students are diving into ratios as they practice identifying and representing different relationships. Students put their understanding to work by creating equivalent ratio displays, making their mathematical thinking visible in creative and meaningful ways!

The first week of school has been a huge success! Our hallways have been filled with laughter and conversation, while our classrooms have been filled with connection, learning, and new beginnings.

Our Lakeside 6th graders are focused on strengthening their group collaboration skills! While working together, students are practicing how to communicate, compromise, negotiate, and make decisions as a team.

These important skills help students learn how to listen to different perspectives, solve problems together, and work toward a common goal. We’re proud of the teamwork and thoughtful collaboration happening in our classrooms! 🎉

✏️ Perseverance in Action! ✏️

Our Pleasant Grove 5th graders put their perseverance and determination to the test this week as they tackled their first STEM challenge of the year! Using only the materials provided, students were challenged to make a pencil stand on its point.

There were plenty of attempts, adjustments, and problem-solving along the way but our students didn't give up! We’re proud of their creativity and willingness to take on a challenge. 🎉

Hazel Point teachers are pumped to be back in the building and officially kicking off the 2026–27 school year!

What better way to start than with our annual Tiger, Trap, Human competition?!?

After some fierce battles, we can officially wish a big congratulations to Mrs. Doyle! She will proudly hold the title of Champ and keep the traveling trophy for this school year! 🏆
