Students in middle and high school are invited to learn about the career journeys of various Cleveland Clinic professionals that landed them face-to-face with today’s most challenging healthcare issues. Students are able to access on-demand recordings plus other valuable career exploration resources by visiting the Connected Career Rounds website (https://healthcareedu.ccf.org/course/view.php?id=645). Each session includes a caregiver team, whose members discuss their career paths and how they provide care around a specific health topic. The Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit, multispecialty academic medical center that's recognized in the U.S. and throughout the world for its expertise and care.

There will be no school on September 7 for Labor Day. Students are not required to work in their classes on this day, but may work if they choose to. Classes will resume on September 8.

Our next field trip on September 22 takes us to the Holden Arboretum! We’ll see diverse gardens and ecosystems, take a canopy walk among the treetops, and learn about the importance of natural spaces. To RSVP for this trip, look for the post in Brightspace.

The first field trip of the school year is here! Join us for a trip on September 9 to Heritage Village Museum, a living history museum depicting life in the 19th century. We’ll learn about popular careers from the past, hearth cooking, trading goods, and more. If you’re interested in coming along, look for the post in Brightspace with RSVP details.

Registration for our Flex 8-week fall session closes on August 26.
TRECA Flex allows students to remain enrolled with their local school while earning additional credits through TRECA! It's a great option for students who want to get ahead and make some room in their second semester, or who need to make up a failed credit. Visit treca.org/flex to register today.

It's super important for students to actively work in their courses. The Evolve Portal breaks down a student's attendance time into categories that help families understand how much time a student has been marked as Present, and how much time they still need to work in their courses.

Welcome back, Navigators! We're so excited to start the year with you. Here are some things to keep in mind as we begin the new school year...
1. Make sure to work in your courses for 5 hours and 10 minutes each school day to be counted as present.
2. Contact the Help Desk with any technical issues or questions - including issues logging in! Visit treca.org/support to submit a ticket or call in.
3. Your advisor is your go-to contact for questions! They're always happy to help guide you in the right direction.
4. Bookmark treca.org/student-resources and treca.org/family-resources. Both pages are a great shortcut to info on attendance, requesting records, work permits, and so much more!
You always have a support system of advisors, teachers, counselors, the Help Desk, and SAFE to help you be successful. If you have issues or questions at any time, reach out and our staff can help point you in the right direction. You've got this - go Navigators!

Returning Students!
It's time to complete your required Student Packet! Every year, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce requires us to collect updated info for each student. All families will complete their student packets in the student packet portal. Visit treca.org/return to get started. Check out our support guide to using the portal at treca.org/support/student-packet-portal.

If you do NOT plan to remain with TRECA this fall and would like to withdraw, please return your TRECA-issued equipment to any of our regional offices to start the withdrawal process.
