Our OPEN HOUSE & TITLE I MEETING has been RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, September 2, 2026!

📚 Title I Meeting: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
🏫 Open House Opening Session: 4:00 PM
📍 K–2 Cafeteria
2221 Democrat Rd. | Memphis, TN

3rd Grade Parents: There will also be a MANDATORY 3rd Grade Literacy Commitment Meeting. Parents will learn more about Tennessee’s literacy pathways and requirements for scholars to be promoted to the 4th grade.

Although MSCS schools will reopen tomorrow, power has not yet been restored to either of our school buildings. Therefore, Southern Avenue Charter Elementary will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide additional updates as they become available.
