$25 per person or $50 for family of 3 or more. Every paid walker gets a t-shirt. Come by for hot dogs, try karaoke, playground for kids and an easy peaceful walk.

We are so blessed to have one another.

Last night, our St. Vincent de Paul citywide meeting was held at the Ozanam Center, where Chef Kendall prepared a wonderful meal for everyone.

We were honored to recognize several faithful volunteers who have served for years at our Food Mission, sharing love, compassion, and a hot meal with our neighbors in need.

We were also blessed to have 45 people in attendance, representing our 10 local St. Vincent de Paul conferences. Thank you to everyone who continues to serve with such generous hearts. ❤️

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos of the incredible group of 15 youth and leaders of Praying Pelicans from the Indiana Living Gospel Church, but I couldn’t let their hard work go unrecognized.

They pushed through the summer heat with cheerful hearts, cleaning up our trees by removing hundreds of vigorous suckers growing from the bases, roots, and lower trunks. It was hard, dirty work, and they tackled it with energy, teamwork, and servant hearts.

Because of their efforts, our grounds look so much better, and the trees will be healthier for years to come. We are deeply grateful for the time, dedication, and love they poured into serving our ministry.

Thank you, Praying Pelicans, for being the hands and feet of Christ. Your willingness to serve made a lasting difference, even if we didn’t capture it in pictures. We won’t forget your impact!

This week was extra special with extra hands from the youth volunteer group from around the Pittsburg, PA area known as the Praying Pelicans. They were with us on Tuesday and today. Here is a pic of today’s wonderful team. Their leaders were a big help too❤️. They are doing such wonderful jobs helping other ministries this wee. Chef Kendall is in this pic in the blue t-shirt.
