🖤💛 HISTORY MADE. RECORD BROKEN. LEGACY BUILT. 💛🖤

The 2026 Lady Jackets made their mark on Middlesboro Volleyball history!

For years, the program record stood at 19 wins, set by the 2006 and 2008 teams. This season, our Lady Jackets raised the bar, finishing with 23 WINS — the most in program history!

This season was about so much more than a number. It was about building a TEAM, buying in to a positive mindset, working on the mental side of the game just as much as the physical side, trusting in one another, and being resilient. Buy-in to bringing effort, energy, & attitude to every single rep allowed us to reach this milestone.

To our players, coaches, families, and supporters: THANK YOU for being part of this unforgettable season. And to the teams who came before us and set the standard, thank you for laying the foundation we were able to build upon.

The record books have a new number. The work continues.

23 wins. One unforgettable team. A season that will forever be part of MHS Volleyball history.

In accordance with KRS 214.034 and 902 KAR 2:060, students attending public or private schools in Kentucky are required to have a current Commonwealth of Kentucky Certificate of Immunization Status on file with the school. An exception to this is a medical or religious exemption.

An immunization audit has been completed, and our records indicate that several students need additional immunizations. Letters have been sent home with students identifying the specific vaccinations your child needs.

Due to the current measles outbreak in Kentucky, it is especially important to ensure that your child is up to date on all required vaccinations. The MMR vaccine protects against measles, mumps, and rubella. Two doses of the MMR vaccine are approximately 97% effective at preventing measles.

(You may schedule an appointment for your child to receive the required immunizations through your child's medical provider or the Bell County Health Department.)

Please ensure that all required immunizations are completed as soon as possible, but no later than December 1, 2026.

**Once your child has received the necessary vaccinations, please provide the school with an updated copy of their immunization record for our files.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this important matter and for helping us maintain a healthy and safe school environment for all students.

Sincerely,

Leah Jones, School Social Worker & District Health Coordinator
