I want to give a special thanks to Jocelyn at for providing us with Luke. This past month has been the best of my career thanks to Luke. Not only is he an amazing partner but he is loved throughout the entire community. The positive feedback and compliments Luke gets on a daily basis are proof of the amazing breeding program that Jocelyn runs. As soon as Jocelyn heard Middletown Police Department was looking to add a comfort dog she jumped at the opportunity to help in any way possible. For anyone who does not know donated to the Newport Police Department and Jocelyn loved the idea of having two of her dogs working side by side in our communities. Thanks to her donation of Luke this program was made possible. She truly has a passion for what she does and Luke and I cannot recommend her enough!

Hi Everyone!!
My name is Luke! I am Middletown Police Department’s newest member! Serving the town as a comfort K9!

Me and Officer David Theberge will be hitting the streets soon, and I couldn’t be more excited and proud to be apart of the community policing unit! I cannot wait to bring comfort and support to the town!

A very special thank you to Jocelyn at Dame Dogs Labradors for their incredibly generous donation of me, and to Tallia at Wag Nation for their generous partnership! Your support means so much to us and the community of Middletown!

I can’t wait to share all about how my training journey is going and all the adventures around town I will go on! Cannot wait to meet you all soon!!
